The tax authorities have clarified the term of payment of property tax

“The tax is paid by physical persons – payers of tax within 60 days from the date of delivery of the tax messages-decisions on the location of the object/objects of taxation and credited to the appropriate local budget”, – said the press service.

In DFS noted that the tax notice-decision on the payment of the tax and the corresponding payment details had to be directed and delivered to the taxpayer by the Supervisory authority at the place of its tax address to 1 July of the year occurring after the base tax period.

As reported, there are numerous instances when the payers of property tax has not received tax notices-decisions, even as at the end of August.

Previously on the official web-portal of the DFS, it was noted that the deadline for payment of such tax is 29 August 2016.
