Compared to January 2011, in October of that year, the demand for homes in cottage settlements have more than tripled. In October 2011, sold 85 houses in cottage settlements of the Kiev region, but a month earlier it was concluded 98 such transactions. At the same time in October of this year in Kiev intensified transactions in urban real estate market. In October 2011 purchased almost 1,900 apartments: 770 1128 on the primary and on the secondary market. Many Ukrainians do not consider a home in the cottage as the main house. They consider it additional living space. What frightens Ukrainians in the cottage? The fact that the citizens of Ukraine, who can afford to buy a cottage in the town as the main housing, do not want to buy a property due to large maintenance costs. As practice shows, the contents of the cottage, it costs owners of $250-400 per month. Another important factor that deters potential buyers from the cottages, is still a lack in many villages of the necessary infrastructure. Children, for example, will have to take in school, located in the capital, while in the village is built little needed someone elite fitness club.
